Space is limited in sober living environments which means that you may find it difficult to find a facility that has adequate housing available for your individual needs. A sober living home creates fellowship and community that can help you get back to a life where you are happy and fulfilled. The proper support, combined with a safe environment and first hand know-how will guide you to experience a new way of being and behaving. A sober living environment reinforces honesty and integrity as it supports you on your journey to acquiring a great new lifestyle.

Evidence that residents’ recovery progress and challenges are recognized and strengths are celebrated.

Steppingstone, Inc., Fall River, $100,000 MassHousing grant funds will help renovate 28 sober housing units for women in Fall River. As part of our community, clients can participate in over 25 hours of structure offered every week at Tharros, including morning sober house meetings Monday through Friday, our 12-step immersion group, music groups, spiritual groups, and recovery work groups.
- Gandara Center, Springfield, $14,000Grant funds will help renovate eight units of affordable sober housing for men at Miracle House in Springfield.
- Teras is located two miles away from Tharros (both Tharros and Teras are in Lexington MA).
- To date, CCRI has awarded more than $15.5 million in grants for the creation or preservation of nearly 3,000 units of substance-free housing, in 54 communities, serving recovery populations that include men, women, families, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community.
